I know I'm a few days late on this, but last Wednesday I celebrated my last. birthday. ever. That's right, I'm now officially 29 and holding. I didn't do much to celebrate - kind of comes with the territory of 1) having three kids and 2) having your birthday fall on a Wednesday. I have, however, been working on a bucket list of these I'd like to do or accomplish before my thirtieth birthday the first anniversary of my turning 29. My list is not nearly as adventurous as others I have seen, and there are some things that are downright boring, but it's my list and I can do what I want ... right? So without further ado ... my list:
- Finish a quilt
- Face a fear
- Knit a pair of mittens
- Get family photos taken
- Take a weekend away with my husband
- RUN a 5K
- Teach Zach to ride his bike with no training wheels
- Get rid of ALL my baby stuff (aka, clean the basement!)
- Learn to really use my camera
- Get another piercing
- Cook 3 new recipes
- Write a letter for each of my kids to open when they're adults
- Drink 1 bottle of water a day (and then work up to 2)
- Get a Brazilian
- Blog twice a month
- "Fly" for a whole entire month
- Shoot a gun
- Work once a month on my kids' baby books
- Ride a mechanical bull
- Read the book "The Whole Brain Child"
- Go someplace that requires flying on an airplane
- Learn one constellation. Teach it to Zach.
- Clean my bedroom
- Figure out a better system for the papers that pile up on my counter
- Try bubble tea
- Complete a 30 day ab challenge
- Turn in my application for to serve on one of the city boards of commission
- Donate blood
- Try a gel manicure
- Lose the diaper bag! (aka find a smaller purse)
